Description
The more things are the same, the more they are very VERY different. Some things out there just have a definite advantage over others of the same kind. We are surrounded by examples of such things. In sports, two individuals or teams skilled in a certain game face off against each other, and one comes out the winner. One sunset is invariably better than the other one. One book will shine over the other covering the same subject. It's just the way things are.
Aviation is no different. Certain planes just have that thing that puts it over its counterparts. Could be a design element, could be the paint job. And in the case of the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 vs. a civilian Cessna 182, its the mission for which it was built. The Skylane is every bit a flying machine that the Hornet is, but the sleek and deadly lines which makes the fighter jet such a capable combat machine is bound to overshadow the single engine prop plane.
The lighting that makes the CF18 look so sinister just happens to be a bonus.
